I'm suing the guy who did some body work on my car but did a shit job...
I went to personally serve him today and i caught him as he was driving away, so he stopped and asked me what was up... i said not too much then got out of my car and walked over to him and said i had something for him.. i placed the papers on his arm (his elbow was out the window) and he started to read the shit then pushed them out the window and drove off. I called the courts and they agree that i've served him but i wouldnt mind doing it a second time but this time adding some humor to it :thumbsup |
Get a woman to serve him. He won't be expecting that. :Graucho

GRab him around the throat, and when he starts to gasp for air, shove em down his throat. He will have no choice but to grab them.

If you are sueing for damages that would including any sort of money, you have to have him served in person and he has to sign the document as well as the person that served him the papers as a witness. Thats a must.
If you dont server in person you can not collect any money damages. Hire a company to do it for you. Call your local court house, Im sure they have a list. Its not expensive either. |

Also make sure you are suing the right person. If it is incorporated you need to sue the business not the person and serve their registered agent which is on file with the secretary of state. P.S. This is not legal advice!! You should always seek legal counsel. That is my advice! |

If you wanted humor, my favorite way of serving someone was following them to the bathroom, act like I was doing my business, go to wash my hands, ideally your mark would wash their hands too if they saw someone else doing it, grab a paper towel for myself and and I would hand them their papers and tell them they were served. :1orglaugh
Then I'd would bolt out of there like O.J. But honestly, let the Sheriff do it, nothing gets their attention more than having a cop car pull in front of their office or home, stand on their doorstep, hand on the gun if they get stupid and serve them papers. Its a real wake-up call to them that you mean business, its a real deer in the headlights look on your mark's face when that happens. |

I'm not an attorney. Smart to rely on a real attorney in your state. |
1. Hack his computer.
2. Tap into his phone lines. 3. Intercept a online grocery delivery and have your process server pose as the deliveryman for the store. 4. Actually deliver some of the groceries. 5. Have the process server take a camera. 6. Hand the guy the grocerires. 7. Then give him the court papers. 8. Snap a picture of the person who answers the door. This is how someone tried to serve me. Of course, I wasn't there, but the plaintiff violated all kinds of laws. If you don't care who you hurt or how many computers and phone lines you hack (federal violations), then serve the bastard and suffer the consequences. IT'S A DIRTY FUCKING WORLD! |

Take a staple gun, walk up to him and staple it to his forehead.

in many areas you can hire the local sheriff to be a process server.
this is the best. few people will run from an officer in uniform, and it gives a nice official touch. will generally cost $50-100 extra, but worth it if you are trying to recover anything substantial. very good when evicting nonpaying tenants. |
