for free site owners..
 

ok, i'm a "young 'un" on this board, but so far im making some pretty nice bank.. so i thought i'd share something because ive seen a lot of posts about free sites..

i run a free-site.. ive been surfing the web looking at a lot of other free sites, and all i see are BaNNers! half the time it takes a minute or 2 just to find the "enter" button.. i feel that pisses people off more than anything.

my warning page has no banners at all.. just 2 text links. "click here if you want free pics sent to your email" and "Click here if you want to join a free site" and those are below my 'enter' button. I used to have banners, but i compared and contrasted stats.. 38% of the people go straight to the "free site" link or "email" links, from my index page, hellova lot more compared to the 29% i got from banners.

now if u run an avs or a paysite, then hey banners for programs that require $ are good..my AP partnership stats are awesome on avs sites.. but if you are running a free site, chances are you'll get low signups..so why not promote freesites and email programs? sites like join4free, pink4free, freeadults. Don't link banners directly to the sponsor. Use their banners and send the traffic to a "instructions" page first thats on your site(sponsors dont mind, just ask them first).. on the "instructions page"say some shit like "Hey if you want an awesome free site, just go to the banner below, its simple, you don't need credit cards and nothing to download, just put in your email pick a password and username and go check your email and you will get a password" then have a banner link to the sponsor. lotta surfers are just fucking stupid, and having an instructions page will help a great deal. My pink4free is converting at 1:3, join4free is at 1:4 and free adults is at 1:7.. by using the instructions page.

now lets say your banners to sponsors are converting at 1:400 on your free site.. depending on your sponsor, the highest you'll get is maybe 50-60$.. send that same 400 to join4free, convert at 1:4 and you'll pocket 100$, thats an easy 50-60$ extra compared to the paysite.. and depending on the amount of traffic you get, that extra amount can really multiply and add up..

now for the email programs, i prefer sexfiles, gammae or CE.. just have like 10-15 thumbnails of some hot ass girl (or guy if ure gay) 'hey do you want some fullsized pics like these sent to your email for FREE? just hop on our email list and check your mail" so thats an easy 75cents to 1$ (depending on your sponsor).... AND then just put a body onunload="window.open('http://instructionspageurl')" so that once they signup to a email program and leave the page, BaM they get sent to the instruction page for the freesite and maybe they'll signup for the freesite also, meaning u just made 1-2$ off that one surfer.. and also, dont 'put all your eggs in one basket' for the 'free porn sites' just have a random banner show up, chances are a return surfer wont get the same banner/sponsor, meaning u can make more $ off the same guy. (if you want a javascript just let me know and ill hook you up with a good one)

oh and for the rest of your page, try to use free site links, because hey, freesite surfers want free shit.. emailboxes here and there, and links to your instructions page.. just dont over-do it cuz it pisses them offffffff

ok, last night i switched all my topcash banners to a join4free 'instructions page' after reading this.. and wow, ace0r, where exactly in chicago because i want to buy you a couple rounds.. the day isnt even over yet, and so far i pulled in 140$ more than any other FULL day this month, join4free is at 1:6 with 301 signups.. DAMN bro good looking out! My j4f was usually at 1:12

drunken-i live downtown for now north shore, and we're building a house out in a tiny town called inverness,about 30 mins from the city (most chicago people never heard of it!) broke ground 2 weeks ago, should be wrapped up by august. where are you located in chicago?
