Just an honest question, I'm guessing you didn't support the war?

Washington is offering $10 million (5.5 million pounds) for information leading to the death or capture of Zarqawi.

Wow, I remember when I was a kid, 1 pound was worth about $7.00 USD

Tuna 06-28-2004 02:40 AM

Great news if true

well he makes a valid point, we dont know if its him or not. The status of the report is unconfirmed, hopefully we got him :(

Ok, cool. It just sounded like you were kind of disappointed at the news :) . From what I've noticed, "unconfirmed" usually means something is under progress and 99% accurate, but they want to be absolutely sure and confirm it before it hits the news. So maybe I'm overly optimistic, but let's see... I hope it's true.

sacX 06-28-2004 02:45 AM

perhaps unconfirmed really means unconfirmed.

sky news say military deny capture

who with an iq above 4 would support this war ?

sacX 06-28-2004 02:46 AM

actually that sounds fairly definitive :/

"It's not true, the reports are not true," said Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt, deputy director of operations for the US military in Iraq.

Yeah, very definitive :(

Oh well, I apologize. I was caught up in the heat of the moment, as I was overjoyed at the thought of this scum being brought to justice. Hopefully he'll get killed in some crossfire sometime in the near future.

Didn't mean any offence... just that I've talked/chat with people who seem to think they're "freedom fighters". Anyway, let's start bumping KRL's thread which focuses on the (now) more relevant handover of sovereignty....

slavdogg 06-28-2004 02:59 AM

US general Kimmit denies earlier report of Islamic master terrorist Zarqawi?s capture in Shiite town of Hilla south of Baghdad.
