and came across this movie...

I am really looking forward to it. I really think that was the best pirate movie I've seen in a long time... or... ever, for that matter.

I thought it was okay...but I didn't really get out of it what everyone else seems to. Then again, pretty much everythign Disney puts out bores me and most Americans love this stuff, so I guess I'm just strange.

Gore Verbinski turned down the Ring 2 to direct this movie

I saw on tv sometime ago that there would be 3 Pirate movies.

That's a shame. The Ring was a great 'scary' movie. Tripped me out when she crawled out of the tv. Then again, I thought Pirates was a great movie and look forward to seeing the sequel.

It was a great movie, great cast.
