does position in PPC results page affect quality?
Do you think the quality of PPC traffic is affect by the position on the SERP?

From my experience, lower spots get a better conversion ratio. This doesn't necessarily mean you'll have a better bottom line doing nothing but low priced spots.

I find I get better value per click not being number 1. Number 2-4 is where I try and land.

Seems that people who click on banners in the slightly lower spots have a better idea of what they are looking for ... rather than just impulse clicking. :2 cents: |
there's no money in ppc, stick to buying tgp spots on the hun

You will get less traffic in lower spots, but I agree with above that conversions will be better.
Basically, the surfer is looking for something in particular usually...if he gets to your site it probably means those above didn't satisfy him and he's still looking. Giving him better chance to convert then just someone who clicks on you if you're #1 (but doesn't click on the rest...he's not really searching to buy). |
From my experience.... I still dont know what's best :helpme
