My girlfriend and two of our friends decided to head 180 miles South yesterday with two friends to go clubbing. We stayed overnight in a cheap Bed and Breakfast. It was fun.

I think we're gonna do this more often now :)

I drive about 400 miles per weekend for weekend meetings and parties, and fly a few thousand miles most weeks as well.

Went to Blackpool. I'd never been before and my friends said I hadn't lived until I experienced Blackpool so we decided to jump in the car and drive down :)

I'm off to Turkey on Thursday tho, my 5 star hotel will be a lot better than my B&B :)

I've gone 5 hours each way for concerts several times.

I once drove to Austin, bought a pair of boots, ate lunch and came back.
1200 miles there, 1200 miles back.

Rediculous. I'll drive 30-45 mins for a party/club etc thats it.
Mabye hit up DC but thats as far as I'll go.

Drove about 600 to go out with some friends in San Fransico... Then drove 600 back.

thats one hell of a long car ride, must have been a good night out to make that worthwhile

It was buddy, we had a blast. Found this awesome club, the music was brilliant and the drinks were sailing down my throat, not even touching the sides.

When I get back from Turkey I think we're gonna take two cars down this time for the weekend with more friends. Its something different to do on a weekend!

I have driven to parties in Vegas (300 miles each way) where I stayed for 3 or 4 hours, and then drove home.

I have also driven to Sacramento and back (400 miles each way) where I spent less than 30 minutes there.

I have driven to San Francisco and back (400 miles each way) just for dinner (I really like the fish and chips at Edinburgh Castle)

Come to think of it, I once rode my bike to Sturgis, S.D. (1,450 miles) for the 50th Anniversary of Bike Week, but it was too crowded so I left after a couple hours. . . . but that took more than an overnighter.

Fuck you, I was rescuing my daughter who was stranded there because all the airports in So Cal were closed due to the fires we were having, and she had to be at work the next day.

When she went to school up there I would drive there frequently to take care of some problem she was having and could not get local people that could fix it in a timely manner . . .so bite me.

Don't know, maybe it was a 60 million dollar drugs deal

I never had to drive further than Mexico to do a drug deal . . . only 125 miles . . . . I have driven to several Sex.com parties and back but barely over 100 miles each way, so barely worth mentioning

i only drive 20 minutes to go to the bar. ive done 45 minutes but anything longer than that i stayed the night or weekend. isnt there anywhere closer to you?

Yeah I live in Scotland buddy, there's about 1 alcohol selling place for every 20 people on average :)

Guess what? I have driven similar distances to help friends in need too . . . truck broke down for one friend so I drove several hundred miles with a bigger truck so I could tow him home because a tow truck would have cost more than his truck was worth.

Blackpool is an absolute riot for a weekend stay-over, I used to do it all the time until I moved down to Devon, the best part is def the gay clubs/bars, you just cannot be bored in them!!!!

Jesus, when I used to drive to college before summer it was around a 25 min drive one way and that was enough to exhaust me at 2 times a day already. I will hardly EVER even drive to Los Angeles from OC because it takes around 45min-1 hr (at the slow rate I drive) plus factor in getting lost which inevitably always happens when I drive far (wrong exits, especially with freeways I'm not used to), forget that! I hate driving!

I am too lazy to even drive 5 min to the grocery store, let alone all the way half across the coutnry.

It wasn't so bad to be honest. We had a lot of fun in the car. Played some stupid games and I talked with my buddy.

Coming home tho I was real tired. I didn't get too much sleep the night before and the last 25 miles was torture.

I remember one time we went to this club at like 10 in the morning the place was fucking totally packed with drunk girls in Nurse,Police,Maid uniforms!
