as far as arcade style
i have to go with bubblebobble followed by arkanoid 2 - revenge of doh and rampage.

Archon was pretty fun.

I remember one on the tandy coco.. dont remember the name. It was a "side scroller" though, and at one point you would come to a point where you had to reboot if you took a wrong turn, lmao

LadyMischief 06-27-2004 11:24 AM

Leisure Suit Larry.

Doom was AWESOME. We played that for hours in our school computer class. Deathmatches were SO much fun.. I think that's the only time I've stayed in school after-hours, until like 8pm when the janitor came to drive us away. :)

macker 06-27-2004 11:30 AM

Jet set willy and manic miner :thumbsup

Damn.... That's funny... I was actualy talking to someone the other day about that game. I played it so much I broke the buttons. Had to press the little metal/plastic pads to keep playing it.

Zork all the way baby...

fuzebox 06-27-2004 03:29 PM

It's a tossup.

I want to pick between a dozen of the Lost Treasures of Infocom (ie. Zork)...

Or maybe Cross Country Canada (who remembers this Apple II goodness)...

Or if Nintendo counts, Super Mario Bros 1.

riosluts 06-27-2004 03:32 PM

nah the best 90s game would be
Wolfenstein 3-D

and CD-MAN

loved those games

Elli 06-27-2004 03:32 PM

My faves:

Choplifter
Pole Position
River Run
Spy Hunter
Scorched Earth

anyone ever play "Worms"? I think thats what it was called. you had a certain number of worms and you had to knock your oponents worms off a mountain and stuff.
