Is there any way to prevent flash banners from making sound?

This "Oh my god I'm coming" banner drives me crazy and annoys me like hell.

Same here... but I'm afraid it is not possible.

I mostly listen to music while browsing GFY.

but people be honest

I don't believe there's ANYONE on this board who likes the banner, and I think even Jenn gets a flush of shame through her when she accidentaly hovers over the banner.

Johny Traffic 06-27-2004 09:35 AM

turn your speakers off

Don't put your mouse over it?

Babaganoosh 06-27-2004 09:44 AM

I'm using a linksys router/firewall and I have all of the annoying flash banners blocked at the firewall.

jpwhits 06-27-2004 09:49 AM

isnt there a setting in firefox where you have to press flash a button on flash movies for them to load?

=^..^= 06-27-2004 09:54 AM
