Damn that's mean. Those kids are going to have life-long complexes just because mommy and daddy needed to pay the cable bill. What a shame!

I remember reading something last year that Toyota or nissan was going to pay the kids full college bill if the parents named him Toyota. but press got wind of it and there was too much of a outcry, the deal didn't go thur

NickHimself34 06-26-2004 06:24 PM

I'd never do that, even if a company did offer to pay for my kid's education. Just can't put a price on dignity.

StuartD 06-26-2004 06:27 PM

that kid will get laughed out of school so hard that he won't even learn how to spell ESPN

seriously. don't parents remember how mean kids can be? you gotta think twice when you name your kids.

NickHimself34 06-26-2004 06:50 PM

Even some of the names that aren't corporate-related are getting ridiculous. Too many young parents with their heads up their asses thinking it'll be cool, while everyone laughs at them behind their backs and calls them dumbasses (rightfully so).

...but what are you gonna do? :helpme

bdld 06-26-2004 06:52 PM

Haha Pampa Fucking Texas makes national news.

That's where my dad was born and raised...my grandparents lived there until their deaths and I still have an aunt and uncle there not including more family in surrounding towns.

My cousin was with the Sherrif's department and he moved to Borger about 25 miles away to work for their police force..anyway he sold his house there in Pampa for a whopping $4K LOL

Shit is cheap there..there's only like 17,000 people and they don't even have a movie theater...lol a wal-mart yes but not a whole lot else....but they have some fucking gorgeous houses....Pampa used to be a thriving town...in fact it's where Woodie Guthrie lived at one time and one of his inspirations for This land is your land.

NickHimself34 06-26-2004 10:54 PM

I knew a girl from Pampa actually. Her last name was spelled Lawrence, but because she's from Texas it was pronounced "Low-rance". :1orglaugh

Oh, where I used to live (MT), a town of 17,000 was considered big! LOL!

Manowar 06-26-2004 10:55 PM

rednecks to the extreme there

Growing up I spent a lot of time in Pampa....most summers we spent with my grandparents. And then about 6 years ago I spent like 9 months there.

Not a whole lot to do other than go to cousin's football games on Friday nights and cousin's soccer games on Saturday mornings.

Most nights we just got together and rented movies and watched them at my grandmother's..that was fucking it...LOL

Ar3s 06-26-2004 11:28 PM
