LOS ANGELES - "Fahrenheit 9/11," Michael Moore's assault on President Bush took in $8.2 million to $8.4 million in its first day, positioning it as the weekend's No. 1 film, its distributors said Saturday.

Based on Friday's numbers, "Fahrenheit 9/11" was on track for an opening weekend that would surpass the $21.6 million total gross of Moore's "Bowling for Columbine," his 2002 film that earned him an Academy Award for best documentary.

Yeah, the theatre was packed last night when I saw it. And everybody clapped at the end. But most everyone in the theatre was anti-Bush anyways, so I don't know how big of an impact it's made so far. We'll see how it trickles down to those that are still on the fence, etc.

Shouldn't be too hard, fiction movies are always easier to create :glugglug

3) not done enough to correct our economy (even fired some of his first team picks as an indicator to even HE not being satisfied with the progress before someone decides to boo hoo #3)

4) killed a lot more people

5) taken away some of our civil liberties

6) made a lot more shit illegal so that he can have Asshat & company send people to prison

Duh. All the liberals jump on public transportation and see it right away. Give it a few weeks and the box office will plummett.
