Donnie Darko: The Directors Cut

Supposed to be released into theatres in New York and LA July 23 and if they do well with audiences they'll put it in 10 more cities.

There is supposed to be 21 additional minutes of footage.

I really enjoyed the first one, sleeper classic. Director cuts are usually a total waste of time but this one i think will be compelling

I'm thinking so too...especially since they had such a difficulty gaining acceptance when it originally came out..it was a flop at sundance and in theaters but grew as a cult classic later.
