How horrible would this be?
This is actually a news report about HIV testing in the Houston area, but it briefly mentions this woman's story:

Melanie Jackson, 35, found out she was HIV positive four years ago -- four years after a man held her at gunpoint, raped her for two days and left her naked. "I'm blessed," she said. "I wake up everyday and I live my life."
But the Houston resident does more than live her life. She tells the shocking story with a spirit of hope and outreach every chance she gets, at grocery stores, at the bus stop, in the doctor's office.
