Anyone from Florida know if there is a track you can race your own vehicles on?
I used to do it way back in the day in Michigan when I was in my early twenties, not sure if Florida allows it.

Also it's 4 cars only, no wheel to wheel in the turns, I think with cycles you can have up to 8.

People race on Okeechobee Road. Goes all the way from Hialeah to North FL. It is slow, not many cops, and street racers love it.
It is also named US27 |
What kind of car do you have? The car Ive taken there is a nissan se-r spec v. Not super fast but fun to drive 14.7 1/4m 6spd. Theres usually some nice cars racing at bradenton and I think it was like $20 to race. Not positive its been awhile since I got out there.

Thank god I kept my old car for putting around in. Replacing all 4 tires on that thing costs less than ONE tire on the new car. :helpme |
Crazy kids and their "automobile" racing.

There is a track at disney property in Orlando, called richard Petty's experience..... they allow that sort of thing...
not sure of the phone number though... but they will even tape it for you and provide a crew etc...... |
In Gainesville - GatorNatonals - Every Wednesday and Saturday. 1/4 mile drag strips with startling lights, time, etc.. $15 per as much as you want to race. Usually pretty nice showing with some nice cars. Here is a LINK
