Made some Electronics people happy today
 

First went and finally bought a flatscreen LCD HDTV/HDMI and a new DVD player for my bedroom. Too many people in my house lately including a couple of extra kids all trying to play XBox live on 3 different XBoxes and 3 different TVs including the little 20" tv in my office.

Get home and get everything set up and my 16 year old is whining that I get all the good stuff. He's been begging for a TV for his room for 2 years and his birthday is next month. So off we go to buy him a 36" HDTV Sony Wega and DVD player. My older boy comes along and whines that his birthday is next month too. So now he has a new flatscreen LCD 30 inch HDTV and dvd player in his bedroom. I have network cable running all over my floor upstairs and down so they can play XBox live in their bedrooms..

The kicker.. I come back home after an errand.. they have my oldest son's GF on her new XBox set up on MY new tv in MY bedroom with my Microsoft wireless XBox access point hooked to it. So much for watching MY tv. Only time I usually watch it is in my office while I work.

Should be interesting when there are 4 of them playing Counter Strike on XBoxLive tomorrow.

give them some quaters tell them go to the arcade. Its summertime, kids shouldnt be in the house all day playing video games.

Heheheh....funny how it's never enough! I'm expecting 28 kids - average age, 10-11 at my house today! My son wants PS1-PS2-GameCube & N64 set up on 4 TVs in the living room (he suggested outside but that's out of the question)

I think I'm going to need a friggen vacation by 5 o'clock this afternoon!

A vacation won't be enough. You will probably need a vacation and a bit of therapy to get over that trauma. 28 boys in your house? good heavens are you bucking for sainthood?

Me: TWO!!!! you want 2 of your friends over?? At the same time?? Can't they come on different days??

Actually, it's about 18 boys & 8 girls. Oh & I forgot to mention there are an additional 14 adults!! *Yes, I'm friggen mental* & it's probably why I didn't sleep well all night!
