The danges of starting a "Fetish" site.
We regularly get the threads "What?s a hot Niche/Fetish" from people looking to make easy money by starting a site that caters to a certain obscure fetish. However there could be more problems than benefits.
Firstly knowing the fetish would be an absolute must. To sell to a fan of a particular niche you have to understand what it is that turns them on. What is right and what is wrong for that niche. Just because you can go out and buy the chains and rope and get a model to let you tie her up, it does not follow you can create bondage content. This applies to all fetishes, to sell any product to a consumer you need to understand the consumers needs. You have to know where to find the right content in a good supply and fresh. The devotee of a particular niche will have been surfing the Net for a long time and chances are he will have seen most of the old content. He will want new content to satisfy him. Put up content that he?s seen and he will not join, trick him into a site that contains old content and he will charge back. So as a non-devotee of a niche how do you know if this content is fresh or 5 years old? As always sticking to what you know will give you the best chance of success, looking for the easy route usually ends in failure. |
An informative post on GFY??? :eek7
Boo this man!! Boooooooooo But seriously, that's good info. If you don't have the fetish then you should at least do a lot of research to get a good understanding of it. |
