SEO Question: Interlinking Domains
Interlinking Domains on the same server = google penalty?

I believe they check IPs. |
Should be good if its in moderation. You can also have multiple IP's per server and that would be fine.
Don't start refspamming with all your domains on a single IP though. WG |

basically it's less than 5 sites all mainstream..right now only 2 they need to be interlinked anyway just so people know they are there. |

I have a ton of domains on a single server, same IP all linking together, for a while now too. Many PR4s and 5s and tons of google listings. The haven't penalized me yet and it's been a few years.
Like these: http://www.germantourist.com/seo1.gif http://www.germantourist.com/seo2.gif http://www.germantourist.com/seo3.gif The secret is the formula: http://www.germantourist.com/googleformula.jpg |

E = (a+LocalScore(x)/MaxLS)(b+OldScore(x)/MaxOS) In other words....It takes too much energy to score locally. You will rank higher if you promote Light Speed (LS) while hosting as far away as you can overseas (MaxOS) :glugglug |
while were in here talking to SEO guys :)
If I make internal pages on sites already listed in the Search Engines.. IE.. like free sites and so on, should I submit these new pages to the SE's or just let them get indexed on their own? |

Yea.. agree MattO! Got that formula sorted and refined it a bit more - want a copy? :winkwink: |

I've held out long enough... time to share some knowledge... this is the true SEO power trick:
please be careful with it though 4+i - 3-2i / 1+i + 2+5i / 1+i - 10 + 7-3i + 2+3i = 1-i 4+i - 3-2i / 1+i - 7-3i + 10 - 1+i + 7-3i / 2+3i = 1-2i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+3i + 1+i * 7-3i + 2+3i = 1+20i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+3i + 10 - 7-3i + 2+3i = 3-i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+3i + 10 - 7-3i - 2+3i = -1+7i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+i + 10 - 7-3i + 2+3i = 3+i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+i + 10 - 7-3i * 2+3i = 8-i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i - 2+5i - 1+i + 10 - 7-3i - 2+3i = -1+5i 4+i * 1+3i - 2+5i / 3-2i + 1+i - 3-5i - 7-3i / 2+3i = -1+2i 4+i * 1+3i - 2+5i / 3-2i + 1+i - 10 + 7-3i + 2+3i = 1+i 4+i * 1+3i / 4+i + 3-2i - 3-5i + 2+5i / 1+i * 7-3i - 2+3i = -1+20i 4+i - 3-2i / 1+i + 2+5i / 1+i + 10 / 2+5i * 1+3i + 10 / 7-3i * 2+3i = 1+8i The shortest solution takes five steps (4+i) - (3-2i) => (1+3i) / (1+i) => (2+i) - 10 => (-8+i) + (7-3i) => (-1-2i) + (2+3i) => (1+i) Here are the values that you can have when you reach the finish (I think this is exhaustive, but I know it works): -8+i -3-i -1-20i -1-8i -1-5i -1-i -1+i -1+2i 1-i 1-2i 1+i 1+5i 1+8i 1+20i 3+i 8-i |

I just plugged those values in a lil' auto-unbanner program I made for Google and I got these results but my site is still banned? |

Another question I have is any one know a way to contact yahoo? I can't seem to yahoo anymore.. I used to get as much traffic from search.yahoo.com as I did google.com. But when they did their change my site lost it's ranking on search.yahoo.com (was number 1 on a few decent search terms) I sill get a few 100 hits via dir.yahoo.com but I'm down to like 30 hits a day from search.yahoo.com it used to be over 1k a day. The thing that really pisses me off is other sites are ranked from my domain name showing up in their search but my site is not. The worst part about it is the sites now listed under yahoo for my old keywords are crap spam sites. |
