fuck this fucking thing, it's not on a season pass and i've given that fucking show as many thumbs down as i possibly can, but that motherfucker starts recording fucking perry mason everyday when it comes on anyway.

If I remember correctly, it probably has something to do with the Tivo's Suggestions settings. Make sure it's turned off completely in the set-up, or it will record things that it wants to as long as you have room. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm not near my Tivo. Good luck!

you're right and i do want it to record stuff on it's own for me, but i just can't see how it picks some of the stuff it does even after i've told it i didn't like something.

Mine likes to record 'Telemundo' (or other Spanish programming), along with whatever it can fetch from the religious channels. Very weird, because I'm neither Hispanic nor very religious...

They choose the shows (or channels) the old fashioned way. Whoever pays them the most gets picked.
