Toronto Critic Reviews 9/11 (Not nice for Bush)

The critic is Rick Groen of The Globe and Mail.

A telling exerp:

"Then, as the credits finally roll, George W. and his major players ? Rumsfeld, Rice, Cheney ? are seen in silent close-up before the TV cameras, their make-up being applied, their façades polished. Suddenly, the screen goes black and the silence is broken by the sounds of 9/11 ? no picture, just the screams, the tragic din. Now comes the kicker. A quick return back to Bush himself on that fateful morning, at a photo-op in an elementary school, sitting on a small chair at the head of the class. An aide arrives to inform him of the strike on the first tower, then on the second, and he simply continues to sit, his face the same blank stare.

The camera watches as the minutes tick by ? seven long minutes and still no reaction. The point is made with savage brilliance: Briefly left unattended, with no one to pull his strings, the dummy is inert and vacuous."

And The Complete Review

right... and if he jumped up, said holy fucking shit and ran out of the room full of kids, this nitwit (and all you silly bitches singing the same sad song) would fault him for scaring the children.

Boy, you are sounding desperate....

He could have gotten up without slowly, excused himself and gone to a phone.

Always accuse your opponents of suggesting something ugly.

Think I'm desperate?

Go read the "Moore's Movie Slammed" thread, and look at all the Moore cock jockeys come to the rescue..

Indeed, these guys are desperately pulling at strings at this point.

Yes, the only two options are yell "holy shit" and run, or sit around for 7 minutes reading the only book he's capable of. THe only options for Bush maybe.

The funny thing is that those with the biggest mouths don't pay enough in taxes to feed a usa solider for one day.

I agree, most right wing big mouths would also never have the balls to enlist to fight themselves.

Of course, the movie is totally against Bush. He is working hard to ban it and not allow them to show any commercial during the election.

It was funny when I was watching Clinton on Larry King last night. I thought and wondered to myself just how dumb the people who voted for Bush must be. I mean, here you have Clinton who KNOWS HIS SHIT, the guy can read a brief and understand the whole situation...where as Bush doesn't read and has to have things explained to him.

Clinton speaks very well, and you can seem him *gasp* thinking BEFORE he speaks. Bush Jr......well we all know he doesn't think before he speaks.

I saw a nice news clip of him the other day (filmed just after 9/11) where he calls the Afgahn war a crusade :1orglaugh What an idiot.

You'd have to be a moron to vote for him...thats what it comes down to. The guy can't even admit mistakes, then again neither can any rebublican. Whatever it doesn't matter he'll be out of office soon enough.

Maybe if you would postpone " invasions", there would be no need to feed the " usa soldier" ....
Meanwhile, that war is bankrupting your country, mainly because this time your so-called " coalition of the willing" is not a " coalition of the paying"....
