Today Alan Greenspan reported that the worldwide economy dropped more than 1% in an unprecedented 1 day shift. Mr. Greenspan was quoted upon leaving his office as saying "I hate that (expletive) Bling Daddy guy, ever since he joined Pussy Cash ... we've all be SCREWED. I'm gonna have to raise interest rates."

Bling Daddy was not immediately available for comment.

As I wandered cold and shivering through the dark, foggy twilight, my mind wandered. Everything looked warped... distorted... as if I were viewing the world through a funhouse mirror. It was as though my very mind was bending and twisting within my head, causing me to see things in a different way. The fog, heavy and threatening, seemed to shift and move as if it were a sentient being, snaking around me and engulfing me in its strong gossamer web. As I walked through the ominous darkness, I was frightened, yet strangely comforted, as if the very darkness itself were protecting me like a mystical shroud... hiding me from evil, yet its deep endlessness seemed to be the very evil that it was sheltering me from.

The moonlight peeked cautiosly through the ever-thickening fog which threatened at every moment to reach out and wrap it's spindly fingers about my chest and crush it, choking the very life from my lungs. The moonbeam's silvery particles danced upon the fog molecules like thousands of glittering diamonds. As I walked further, I began to feel a sensation of lightening, as if my feet were floating above the ground on a pillow of air. The fog hissed angrily as if it were fighting something and suddenly it parted, as if a tunnel of fresh, clean air were winding its way though, beckoning me to enter.

The tunnel led into a clearing... a lone, solitary spot of emptiness hidden deep within the dense cloud mass. As I stepped into the center of the void, my mind began to clear. I felt a sensation of inner clarity that I had never known before, as if I was suddenly seeing reality for the first time. A bright shaft of moonlight beamed down upon me, so bright and so radiant that I felt as though I could feel it as a warm, cleansing ray upon my face.

Abruptly, I turned. I didn't understand why, but something seemed to speak to me from the darkness, though I heard only silence. As I turned, I saw the face of a man I did not recognize, yet I felt I had known him since the very beginning of time. He was dressed in a snowy white robe, with white downy hair flowing down his shoulders like a waterfall. His eyes were crystal blue and kind, and glittered mischevously from behind bushy white brows. Like an old friend, he smiled at me from beneath his fluffy white whiskers. Although I did not know him, I felt a deep, unerring trust for this man and I knew I would follow him to the very ends of the Earth.

He reached out a strong hand to me, and I placed my hand in his. I felt his fingers close around mine and he began to lead me through the fog. As he walked, the thick, white mass parted, making way for him as though it knew he were all-powerful and it seemed to be bowing in respect. I was floating, flying through the fog as he led me. After a moment the fog began to thin. Thinner and thinner it grew until there was no fog at all, and I was standing beside a pedestal in the middle of a great dark field.

Without a word the man waved his gentle hand toward the pedestal and winked at me, and in a poof of sparkling lights, he was gone.

Cautiously I stepped toward the pedestal. As I neared it, I saw that the moon was casting a beam down upon the earth again, this time sourrounding the pedestal as if lighting my way to some unknown reward.

I stepped up to the column and upon it was a tablet. The tablet appeared to be made of stone, but as I reached out to touch it, I realized that it was jejune, completely devoid of matter or mass, yet appearing absolutely solid. I peered anxiously down at it, and the symbols upon the surface, some ancient, long-forgotten language, perhaps, began to shift and swirl. Like hundreds of tiny, winding snakes they scattered about the page. Finally they began to come together in a near-coherent mass, coagulating blod-like into something almost tangible... almost recognizable... what was it... words perhaps? Yes, it was letters! English letters! It slowly began to spell out a single line of text...

Confused, shocked and a bit dismayed, I pondered. What could it mean? In my mind I tried to reconcile what this single line of letters and symbols could mean and what earth-shattering significance they held, but lacking further information, I could not understand. Perhaps it was not meant for me to understand, I thought. I turned around, determined to make my way home and sink deep into my warm, soft bed to try and forget the events that had just transpired, but my way was blocked by a giant wall of blackness. I turned around and the pedestal has disappeared, replaced with another gargantuan black wall, stretching forth to the sky and as as far and wide as I could see. Everywhere I turned I was surrounded by this mammoth wall, this massive black monolith that blocked my way.

I sat down, defeated. I was trapped. Filled with dread, I lifted my knees to my chest and placed my head upon them and I heaved a heavy sigh.

Suddenly I had a revalation! I recognized that string of characters that had been upon the mysterious tablet! I lifted my head and I realized that I was inside a room. The black wall had dissolved away and the darkness had given way to light. The entire room was white, although it was not painted. It was
as if the walls were made of a brilliant white light, and were not really solid walls at all.

In the center of the room was a white desk, and on it was placed a white computer. I sank down into the plush white chair that sat before the desk and with eager anticipation I typed the characters onto the screen and pressed "ENTER."

This was it! I could not believe it!
