Sushi is quickly becoming my favorite food ever. Yum. Who is with me? What do u like?

so damn good. i resisted for years, but i'm a full convert these days :)

I also resisted for years, mainly because the first sushi I ever had a few years ago was so bad, it tasted like crap. Then I had good sushi, and man, everytime I get hungry now, I keep thining about sushi. Yum Yum

Yep good sushi is the best. It tastes great and I even feel somewhat healthy after eating it.

California hand rolls made fresh....mmmmm, there's this sushi restaraunt out in Irvine - Maki Maki, some damn good food!

ive never tried sushi in my life, even though alot of people around me eat it at least once a week

Once you eat Sushi, it means you eat everything. I know where you coming from. IT's pretty damn good. Especially when its fresh. :)

tesco's (my nearest supermarket) sells small packs of sushi with 4 tiny rice rolls wrapped in seaweed, with a bit of cucumber in the middle for £3.99 - thats about $7.50. thats pretty outrageous for about 25g of rice!

but it tastes awesome :(

me just had magura and sushi yday love it plus the more different restaurants you visit the more you discover good and bad sushi places...

same here albert heijn sells it tesco alike place, $10 for 4, taste like crap, first sushi i ever tasted, they put a good if bought before label on it thats like a week, sushi thats a week old tastes like crap i know by know :) waiste of money imho

if youre ever in amsterdam check this one out, huge place, they have teppan as well no conveyor though

yeah some cool sushi bars here, sometimes even the tail is still moving as they cut the fish in such a fine art that they can keep a nerve trapped. its pretty freaky to watch

huh they use live tuna etc there in the restaurants ? i saw on tv last week a doc bout HK where they ate live octopus as well, so thats for real ? hmmm

Also.. sushi doens't necessarily contain raw fish. A lot of sushi is made only with vegetables or cooked fish / crab etc. It's basically any combination fish (cooked or raw), shell fish, mushrooms and vegetables rolled in sticky rice, wrapped with kelp and sliced. It's often topped with ginger and wasabi, which is an extremely hot, green horse radish.

I'm a late converter as well and love sushi (except sea urchin which taste like total ass and has the consistency of sqaush after being run through a baby's ass...

the only thing I like more tjhan eating sushi...is eatingsushi off a naked female...

Man I love sushi. It's my favorite food too.

Been a while. Normally I draw up a roll with tuna on top, and tuna in the center with avocado. (ultimate tuna roll).

Also dig this same roll, but with unagi (eel), and unagi sauce on the top, tuna/avocado in the middle.

I love sushi! My favorite is what our sushi place calls a Vu Tran roll;)

It is a crunchy roll with spicy tuna on top and then lots of the COCK SAUCE!!!!

Maki Maki in the spectrum is ok at best. You need to try Wasa Sushi in newport or the one at the Irvine Market Place off Jamboree.
