Do you think another Adult company will go public anytime soon?

Do you think another Adult company will go public anytime soon? Will wall street ever warm up to an adult company as adult content becomes more acceptable in the general publics eyes?

Not really.

I doubt it. Not in this political climate. Nobody would buy the stock.

I don't think there has been a problem with publicly traded adult companies, in terms of people not wanting to buy the stock because it's porn. Hustler, Playboy, Flying Croc, there are plenty of publicly traded adult companies, Wall Street is a numbers game. You really think anyone cares where the money comes from? A broker with morals? Please.

Rick Latona would be one of the few CEOs that would have the business sense to run a public company.

But I could also see RLD going public and buying companies like Zero Tolerance ..

YEah, my GF is going back into teaching... I will have to sell off all my sites, domains and such... What a fucking shame. I, who has nothing to do with the children she teaches has to give up my career because of what the public would think... She has nothing to do with my business... yet it would still impact her career if associated in any way with adult.

Nope, I didn't buy it and I haven't been paying attention. I'd never to my company public personally, you just make some money short term and make the banks rich.

I just seem to remember them and a couple other online companies going public a few years back... NuWeb something and New Media Frontier are two others that come to mind. I think they were all Nasdaq. Don't know how they're doing, but if it's negative I'd speculate that it has to do with the overall performance of the market and those specific companies earnings, as opposed to a tendency for investors to stay away from adult.

I don't think Wall Street would be the problem, but I don't think any smart US porn companies wants to make headlines right now and become a target for the religious nuts.

Thats a good point, the bottom line is what is most important.
I guess the fact that they have "sin indexes" and such sais it all.

Now that you bring it up, we are in the process of going public.

We are just wrapping up our financial audits. We are shooting for Nov 1st.
