Is giving the surfer to many choices good or bad for conversions?
 

Like if you were covering the asian niche and you made a site that gave them a choice of 5 different asian sites to join. Or is it better to focus on marketing one site?

This is a good question.
With all these link lists going around I think the surfer has become used to getting a variety of choices and is use to clicking on a few links to compare.
Your conversions definetly don't suffer by having a few choices but I often wonder if too many is detrimental.
