How to Start in the Online Porn Biz...
Okay..this is a continued thread from my other post "What Made you Work with Porn".
I want to start my own Online Porn WebSite, problem is I have no idea where and/or how to start. I know that I have to learn how to do HTML. But thats about it! So, help a young lady out and let me know what I can do!! FYI: I am an online actress. I do live solo performaces for $2.50 a minute,to give you an idea of what I am all about.(which means NO i do not do anything with other guys or girls!) No, I dont know HTML. A friend told me about this site and both me and my friend didnt know this was a message board only for porn webmasters. I kinda figured it out after a few weeks though..

Everyone rags WYSIWYG html editors but a start might be Front Page 2000 since you can edit the html in it in code format. Some of the manuals from the Learn html etc in 14 (or 21) days are good to help figure things out. The 24 hour versions that company above puts out are awful rapid for most people in their learning curves. SAMS is the publisher.
The hubby uses FP to toss things together then edits it all in the code to make it usuable for Netscape etc. Other times he uses notepad but it took him awhile to learn enough coding to do that. Look at the source code on sites you like helps. Alot of the free java etc has the site listed in the source code so you can go get it. I started with "Coffecup 5.0" It just about makes all your pages for you.
It's free and you can learn most of the basics from it. After you get better you can try something different. At least start simple and read a lot. Leasrn what you can about webmastering and page building. You are at the best place on the net to learn. GFY will get you there. |

First thing is getting to know how to make a webpage (you can use something like Microsoft Frontpage 2000 or DreamWeaver from http://www.macromedia.com )
Second thing is learning how to upload the webpage onto a free host. A good program is something like CuteFTP (http://www.cuteftp.com ) Third important thing is doing some sites for practice. Do you do iFriends? I know a few girls that make good money there. You put do shows and charge by the minute. Not sure what the split is, but I think iFriends takes half. Frontpage kicks ass as an editor. I've been using 2000 for a while now. The way it kicks out tables is fast and easy. The only thing I don't like about it is how it changes some characters around like "&" becomes "&" Pfftt... leave it to Microsoft. |

If I were just starting out, I would make sites on free hosts and submit them to all the links sites. I would copy the gallery pages on the sites and submit copies to all the TGP sites. As soon as I had a few hundred put aside, I'd buy a domain, paid hosting and
content. You can put lotsa sites on 1 domain. I would buy more domains and more content as the money coming in would allow. I would use Front Page, cuz that's what I've always used and all I know how to use. The rest of the software you can pretty much find free on the net at download.com or tucows.com . |

Find a sponsor with free content and hosting for example amateurpages.com or aduldrevenueservice.com start useing free hosting and buid tgp pages (these are the easiest to build) |

Yeah FP Express is a fairly easy to learn prog but you do have to learn to edit out the garbage so it looks at least passable to Netscape etc. Gates didn't do that for no reason. lol Odd thing is, even IE doesn't read some of FP's code right. lmbo
But get FP 2000 at first chance. Its much more powerful. But still needs editing.
