Official Nick Change

I somehow sense I'm not getting the respect I deserve as KidCock :1orglaugh

Would you still love me if I was known as Varius? :helpme

I might as well ask now, while the people who count are online :glugglug

Admit to having me on your ICQ list and immediately change your nick?

Don't worry about what a few idiots are saying, they're just jealous sheep:2 cents:

bringer 06-24-2004 01:34 AM

change it to ILUVTHECOCK

stevecore 06-24-2004 01:34 AM

youre not on my ICQ list, nor do i recognize the S/N... sorry but i could care less.

StuartD 06-24-2004 01:35 AM

You think your nickname affects how much respect you get?

You have a very misguided grasp of the concept of respect.

You'll get my respect when you can come up with a better design for iwantu.com

I recently took over as webmaster. Soon as I'm done revamping our affiliate program, revamping / restructuring IwantU is next.

I definately agfree with you on your point, I for one cannot stand IwantU's design.

I certainly do think it affects how much respect you get.

Knowing nothing else about a person, who would you rather do business with

"FartKnocker" or "Techster" ?

Ah, but it's still possible to earn the respect... FartKnocker could end up being a very well respected person if he made 700 posts that were intelligently put, concise and mature.

If I knew nothing about him, then sure.... but respect could still be earned.

But in KidCock's situation... after 700 posts... well, let's just say, a name change won't help.

I didn't say it wasn't possible ;)

But why work harder to gain respect for a stupid ass alias if you don't have to?

If the person is stupid enough to pick a dumb ass alias in the first place, then he'll have a big hill to climb regardless :winkwink:
