Mac OS 9 >>> UPGRADE to OS 10 Jaguar
 

If you upgrade to Jaguar any software such as PS and so on will still work as far as still being compatible?

I have no clue about Macs and need to help my cousin out.

If we upgrade her g4 to Jaguar her existing software already on should still work?

depends on what version of photoshop she has, it will still work, but she will need to run it in "classic mode" which sucks donkey nutz to be honest cause your basically running 2 operating systems at one time.

If she has a newer version of the programs she can just reinstall it using the OSX installers and it should be cool:thumbsup

TBH just looking for something for her so she doesnt have any issues and such with her programs and such

os 9 software will not run in osx. But what you can do is go to your System Preferences change your startup disk to os 9. but you are basicly still running just os 9 so there is no reason to upgrade.
