whether I am voting for him or not - this same thing can happen if the liberals or ndp were in control. Its fear - at least with Harper in charge, they could fight off an attack with newer weapons rather than their guns falling apart when they take them out of their holster.

Besides, if anyone clears their head they would notice that those getting beheaded were not - repeat NOT soldiers !!!!

And with more troops over there, its unlikely a terrorist will try and nab one like a small calf zebra that broke from the heard.

I couldn't agree more, it's surprising me that Canadians aren't seeing through this guy better. He's starting to drop in the polls finally, I think Martin's up by a point or two now, so hopefully people are coming to their senses. That child porn thing just proves that he's a scumbag like Bush who's willing to say ANYTHING to attack an opponent and get the minds of voters off of his own insane ideologies.

I don't get it. Bush hasn't done a single positive thing since entering office, but people are voting for his Twin. Harper is a Bush wannabe, he's trying the exact same election strategy and has the same platform, no doubt along with the same hidden platform Bush has put in action. I mean the guy's destroyed the US economy, stolen the treasury and given it to Halliburton, made the country more at risk than it's ever been, rolled back human rights 35 years, and completely take away the right to privacy. Let's get us a guy like that!
