TGP submitting question
 

Why do some TGPs not allow new windows to open when links are clicked? I like to open a seperate window for the click event of a thumbnail because I know back when I was just a surfer I used to x out after I saw a pic by mistake all the time. Just wondering, If anybody knows clue me in...

Your desktop would be all full of windows if everything you clicked on would pop up a new one... I suppose...

From the gallery makers view new windows make sense, it's definately more comfortable if the gallery page stays open, TGP owners are doing the same when you click a gallery link.

BUT the more windows are open, the more the visitor is distracted from the TGP. The longer your gallery is open, the better the chances a visitor leaves to your sponsor or clicks a recip. For the same reason they don't want you to use "next gallery", even if this link goes to a gallery.

When you allow opening pics in a new window, it will hurt clicks on the TGP.

We allow "next gallery" if it links to another gallery
