(With Firmware upgrade the NEC can even burn dual layer)

I always go for PLEXTOR when it comes to DVD and CDROM... ALWAYS... they have never let me down :thumbsup

bought the nec 2500 really happy with it, its 8 but most dvds are 4 anyhow...

i have the LG and i'm pretty happy but Plextor looks very nice

what about the new pioneer 16x dual layer burner? thats the best ive heard of by far

Phillips has a new one that does 16X speed.

I have a lite on works great, and 2* as cheap as plextor...

i had real problem with the nec i got with my pc
they did a firmware upgrade for me
then the writer died:waaaaahh
then got a optorite dd0201

and neva looked back:thumbsup

I always buy lite on.. cheap as fuck and GOOD. Liteon always made top notch drives and they will in the future...
