Probably more flights but FLL is much closer and less of a nightmare to get in and out of. Plus you don't have to bring your Spanish-English dictionary.:winkwink:

Ft Lauderdale is hella closer.

I've done both and there's not enough time difference in the drive to the hotel to make me give up the convenience of being able to reschedule a flight to leave whenever I want to.

Not only is Ft Lauderdal airport closer it is much less hectic

LOL, the distance isn't that much different. I just happen to recall two years ago when I had a ruptured disc in my back and in order to get a flight out early I had to pay a $600 change fee to change airports and flights since there was nothing available earlier from FLL.

I fly thru Miami to go other places all the time, it's not the big bad wolf, it's really easy if you know where you are going.

I'm landing at Miami Int. damn, the TopBucks Limo doesn't go that far :(

FLL for sure. Miami seems convinced I stash drugs inside my laptop and seem to want to not just search it but take it apart. Bastards.

The airport is called Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood Int. The show is in Hollywood. A few minutes away. Mia int. is in west buttfuck compared to FLL. Much less hectic too.

I've got to say, as a local, that Fort lauderdale is not only much easier to deal with, in terms of getting your bags faster, and less traffic out of there, but it is only 8.5 miles from the Hotel.

Miami International is 22 miles, the baggage handling is not that great, and the traffic sucks.:2 cents:

FLL always seems to be cheaper than Miami everytime i fly to South Florida....Juicy, try Jet Blue....

which airport ? Fort Lauderdale is like 15-20 mins the most , and thats to the hotel:thumbsup

I always fly into Ft.Lauderdale MUCH easier and no long cab ride to Miami in that crappy traffic

we took Jet Blue to Vegas the pilot doesnt fly fast enough loll

Worst part was Miami was a stop over from Curacao back to Toronto with only a 40 minute layover. Customs almost made me miss my flight and I was only in the United States for 40 minutes!

Fort Lauderdale is easier; but, Alaska Airlines only flies non stop into Miami...so, it looks like Miami International for me this year.
