If you referred someone to a program and the comission got cut off...

Let's say you referred someone to a program, and you got 3 months of comission cheques from a VERY large and profitable ( for the program ) new customer, but you yourself stopped using their program, should you lose those recurring comission cheques just because you yourself stopped using the sponsor?

If this happened to you, what would you do?

Read the TOS and kick my own ass for not doing so the first time.

I wonder if it would even be in there...

alot of times programs dont send out comission checks if you are not sending traffic your self

always read the tos

Read the TOS of the sponsor. Some allow it, some do not.

if i had referred someone who was earning alot of cash then I would make sure I was sending at least a little bit of traffic just to keep my account active...

are we to assume this has happened to you?

I've had this happen a few times... although, I never did send any traffic, just went straight to the referral thing.

Anyway, all I've ever done is contacted the sponsor... and not an affiliate rep... go to the top if you can.

So far I've never been told no to... if you talk to them and plead your case, they'll give you your earned money.

As I said, every program I've talk to about it has agreed to send me the money I earn as a referal earner.
