last summer here in AZ our rainy season is in the summer
it was raining in the front yard of the house but there was not a drop of rain in the back yard..

They call an extended version of that "liquid sunshine" in Hawaii.

You can be sitting on the beach and getting rained on and you look up and it's a clear blue sky. Then finally you see a tiny cloud that is causing it, just like in the cartoons.

I dunno....thats not as wierd as a few years ago. I was in northern Nevada, working in Battle Mountain. It was like 60-70 degrees out, we were all in t-shirts, and out of the blue it started snowing. No clouds, no temp. change, just snow.

I love when that happens..it is really wierd when you are driving and one second dry then drive into the rain in a second flat! Cool!

yes... it always happen.. its really weird... sometimes when I left home to go the office there is a heavy rain, That's why I have my umbrella & rain coat with me, when I reach the office OMG there isnt even any drop of rain awww sucks

i remember being in the car when i was a kid once, it was not raining on the side of the road we were on but the cars going in the opposite direction were getting poured on

Yeah that's crazy. I've only noticed in in Hawaii. It's a pretty cool experience, but still it's f'd up.
