Greenguy hits the bigtime!

In a fairly encouraging sign, Link-o-rama can now be found by its own name on Yahoo (whahoo) ? maybe the other major linklists will finally make it out of limbo:

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=sl...uys+porn+links

And here's the rest of us:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=sl...s+to+Free+Porn

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=sl...REE+PORN+LINKS

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=sl...ega+porn+links

http://search.yahoo.com/search?fr=sl...+porn+pictures

According to Alexa Yahoo is still the #1 most visited site on the web and Google is #4. Seeing as yahoo is more of a portal I bet that there is a lower search volume.

In the meantime: my old crappy sites and pages of have abandoned seem to be tearing up the charts on Yahoo. I?m not looking for a #1 for porn on Yahoo. I would be satisfied if a surfer could find my site if the searched for it my name.

That?s not asking much. Is it?

it will just cost you 600 bucks a year at yahoo to get a better rank on your own websites name :1orglaugh

Link-o-rama has scored okay in Yahoo for a while for some keywords.

The trouble with Yahoo and link lists is that yahoo doesnot crawl deep into sites quickly and score them like Google. So Big sites are at a disadvantage in Yahoo but they are favoured by Google.

We used to come up 1st and 2nd spot in Yahoo when search free porn years ago until they fucked us and removed a bunch of our links for no reason. We tried to contact etc but had no luck. We'll we fucked them backed and chargebacked over $3,000 in submission fees, lol. I hate Yahoo.

Yahoo didn't come after you for charging back that much? I remember spending a shitload as well and about 5 months after they announced they were going to use the Google index, it totally infuriated me.

No Yahoo never came after me. They never even responded to the chargebacks. They have horrible customer service for that. They also just billed my credit card the recurring fee of 600 about 2 months ago and I was able to chargeback that too. When I called Yahoo and tried to get them to credit for me the charge they said it was too bad and they was nothing could do so I did a chargeback, fuck them lol.

Nice. I changed my Visa number that they had on file and never responded to update it. My listings are still online to this day. They're really incompetant on the business side of things :)

Finally, I thought I was the only one that thought that. "Incompetant" really sums up how Yahoo is run now, other than the marketing.

Yahoo is ghetto as hell now.

Cool:)
