how's the new icq?
 

I know it's not brand new, was waiting to see if there were any problems with it before I upgraded

Version 4? It blows, it can't sort my contact list by Name. :mad: I'm back using 2003a pro.

I'm using 2003a too....I don't upgrade unless I format or get a new system and the old install is no longer available.

yeah, 4.1 is the newest.. I was kind of hoping they made the history easier to use, I hate the way they've changed it since .. I think it was 2002. It used to be so easy to copy history, now it's a pain in the butt :(

its so so.. some features are a bitch (ie firstletter for finding contacts.. old one u could press "s" and it would goto the first s then next etc etc) this one wont...

I think I still have all the older versions and I am about to change back to the one before this newest one..... I HATE it...... it works fine on my pc, but I don't like this style thing at ALL. And there are a lot of other options I liked better about the old versions...... and trust me, I have had icq for a LONG LONG time...... from the very first one ever put out. LOL

Hey... why don't we all get together and see if we can compile copies of every version of ICQ ever released? I'll even offer to host the execs! :) I found a great site a couple years ago and now have Windows 1.0, 1.1, 286, 386, 3.0, 3.11, NT 4, et al. Then I set up an old box dedicated to nothing but running these OS'. Pretty cool find, actually. Then again, i'm a recent-history buff...
