why do you have to be 16 to enjoy sound quality much greater than a stock stereo system?

Wrong...It's about sound quality.

If it was just about being loud then he would not have invested that much money into the install itself. That looks better than a lot of novice competition system installs that I have seen.

the install is kick ass forsure.

but filling up the entire rear of your car with amps and woofers is not about sound quality at all, its about thumping from a 1/2 mile away.

No it's not, I've put $2500 into my system, and I don't play it loud in the neighborhood. First off, that's just stupid, and letting people know where the car is located, secondly it's a moving violation in Huntington Beach.

But I do play it loud on the freeway, which isn't a problem, or is that still a problem with you?
