Google and consoles
When you put a console on a clean site ranked well on Google, does it affect your ranking? Can Google bury you for that?
Which kind of consoles are allowed? Entrance, blurred entrance, exit? |
Anyone?

As a general rule, google doesnt follow java_script and would not know if you had consoles or not. But that wouldnt keep surfers from complaining to google about it, especially if you were installing spyware or dialers.

I'm not talking about shit like dialers or spyware, but to maximize a bit the income through an exit or entrance. I have way more visits on the page than hits to the sponsor, otherwise I kept my pages clean, with no popups, but it seems I'm losing some money out of it. |
they stop adwords campaigns if the pages have any popups

It's not like consoles are a new idea and generally regarded as "malicious". I mean lots of legit non-adult sites have pop-ups. It's just that in the adult world we've got so many douches who want to screw surfers over and made a dime via dialers etc. that webmasters regard them negatively.
So I don't see how, unless your pop-ups are malicious, you would be penalized in any way. |
