Pretty fucking embarrassing...
 

This weekend my team had its basbeball game in a very bad area. I mean like broken bottles around the edges of the field, dudes hanging out off left field who looked at me like I was dinner, etc... I was a bit on edge I must admit cuz I'm just a crackerass suburbs boy and when we got there the teams before us were in the middle of clearing up a fight where someone attacked the ump or some shit.

The first inning I hit a double, the next guy walks. The following hitter knocks one to the outfield and I come home... the guy on first comes around hard and tries to slide into home but more falls like a belly flop (and he's safe). The catcher thought this was funny and calls out - joking about how the guy fell over - "Watch out there's a sniper out there!"

Now me being on edge... I don't get he's joking about how the guy flopped down to slide and I take off to duck behind a car. As you can imagine everyone was looking at me.... pretty fucking embarrasing! The one saving grace was that another guy there thought the same thing and he hit the deck too. =]

So make me feel better... someone else tell us somethig really dumb you did!

lol good story but nothing to be embarrased about...

if that were in Ohio (where I am obviously) no one would have laughed at all or maybe even send something like that, we had the sniper in columbus picking off people on route 270 for the last year or so.

At least the other guy who ducked was a local!

I dropped an ice cube while filling my cup a few minutes ago. Bent down to pick up and and stood right up into the door I'd left swinging open.

Not really all that embarassing. But the top of my head feels like a giant bruise.

Yeah... I was in CA when some dude was shooting people on the highway. WHen I heard that I'm just seeing news clips in my head and hoping to got I don't get plugged until I find cover. It was just funny everyone looking at me like: "Ummm... dude, what are you doing?"

I'm hating it right now. No blood though. But I feel like a dumbass for sure.

Heres one from tonight: (not embarassing for me though)
My mom and dad came over to the house for father's day - do a sunday dinner etc... Well I was out on the deck grilling and my mom for whatever reason she didn't see that the sliding screen door to the deck was closed. She hit that screen at full speed and basically tore the door out of the track and fell down on the deck with the remains of the door under her. :1orglaugh
