I always hear of Separation of church and state, if this is so, how come you can not buy wiskey on Sunday at the store, I mean, it is a state law.

Exactly what I am talking about Nightlizard. If they can have church on Sunday, why can't I go to the store where I live and buy hard liquor? just does not make any since.

In California we can buy any liquor at our grocery stores anyday. I think you can't buy any after 2 am though but I'm not sure, I've never tried. I moved here from Oregon, where you can only buy hard liquor at liquor stores that sell nothing but liquor. And I think they even close at like 6 or 8 pm and are not open on Sundays. I shit my pants the first time I walked into a Von's (california grocery store chain) and there was a whole aisle of hard liquor. Oh and here they call convenience stores liquor stores, cuz they all sell it (except for 7-11). It is amazing that everyone here are not complete alcoholics....or maybe they are LOL.
