Adsense paid well back in the day. I still see large networks using them so they must click.

It cant be used on sites with adult content. I use it on a few mainstream sites its ok if you can optimize the page to get relevant ads.

Yes I know about mainstream only...I am diversifying my 'portfolio' developing 2 mainstream content sites and have been researching some mainstream affiliate programs.

I've been thinking about using them on some new sites but I want to know what they pay and they won't tell you. So no deal.

Hmmm..that is strange. I did put my application in...maybe that will show the rates.

The rates are totally random based on the sponsor.I have some that paid as little as 50 cents a click and some that paid close to 2 dollars a click.

I don't think so and not only that, but I think it is against their TOS to talk about how much you make with them. Not 100% sure on that but I saw it mentioned on another board.

Ive had clicks pay as low as 3 cents. Like said each keywords payout differently depending on popularity.

I make mid three figures daily off of adsense. Not a bad side income.

If you want to know how much you can make off of Adsense, you just need to run it on your own site and find out. It doesn't hurt to try.

Sometimes you need to experiment, the results may not always be what you are expecting. One site which archives old messages (ie: VERY rich text content) actually makes less $ than a silly little profile site without much content per page.

Both sites get most of their traffic from Google which is a nice circle. :Graucho
