Mustangs - Cheap Peices of Shit. Unless it's an older model

tootie 06-20-2004 03:22 PM

I LOVE Mustangs. 60's models and models from around 1986-1992 only. I especially like the 5.0 models from 1990-1992.

I've been driving nothing but Mustangs since 1995. Great cars. The Corbra's are quick cars.

I took this picture earlier today of my Mach 1:

TurboTrucker 06-20-2004 07:20 PM

I raced a Roush Mustang (GT) in my old Typhoon. He didn't fare too well.

TurboTrucker 06-20-2004 07:24 PM

fuzebox 06-21-2004 02:55 AM

Nope, not a fan.

Although the new SVT Cobra with the factory supercharger and independant rear suspension is interesting... Too bad the styling is still horrible.

Z 06-21-2004 06:26 AM

My first car was a 1969 Mustang Mach1. 351 Windsor, Holley headers, rolling rockers, custom cams...it was a beautiful beast.

Then, when I joined the Marine Corps and got stationed in Japan, I thought that the best idea was just to sell it and buy something else when I got home.

...stupid...stupid....stupid...

okny 06-21-2004 06:28 AM

Old models are nice, the new once are wanna be sports cars.

Tam 06-21-2004 06:51 AM

THIS is the exact Mustang I want.... and would give my left tit to have one identical to it. I LOVE Mustangs and I want one........ my husband thinks I am out of my mind, he wants a Lambourghini (sp?) or some crazy fast car like that, but I want a Mustang....... or a Mini Cooper....... I love both of those cars. LOL

I like Old Classic Cars.... I once dated a guy that restored old cars years and years ago and he was going to restore me a 32 Coup, but we broke up...... I shoulda used my head and got the car first..... LMAO

fusionx 06-21-2004 07:10 AM

The 2005 40th Anniversary GT is looking pretty interesting:

http://www.18pluspics.com/hotlink/mst.jpg

The base model (400 HP) is expected to be about $25k. There's an SVT model and a Boss model expected as well.

KRL 06-21-2004 07:51 AM

I had a Mustang in high school. My bro had one that was barely street legal it was so tricked out with performance parts. That fucker shook like a rocket when you hit the pedal.

Great cars. Great name. A classic that will go on forever.

Extreme Nate 06-21-2004 01:13 PM

I love mustangs new and old mine looks nothing like it did the day I drove it off the lot.

Nate's GT - John's Roush Stage 3
