Would this idea work?
 

I don't use exit programs because they are too circle jerky. I don't use pop ups because I think they're too commercial.

Exit programs are willing to pay .0045 an exit. Problem is that the poor guy that exits has to close 5 windows or more.

I was thinking about making an exit program to my TGP. And paying say, .001. Meaning with 50,000 exits you'd get $50. Since my site doesn't have any other consoles. That means one clean exit to a friend instead of a paysite.

I don't think I'd make much money. But the exposure would be nice.

What's your input? Would you use an exit program like that?

That sounds like a decent idea. I tried exit sponsors a few times, but I refuse to stay with them because of all of the extra pops that my visitors would have to endure.

As far as your plan to do it. It sounds like a nice idea, but I think that the pay would have to be higher though, .001 is really a low rate compared to the .045 that a sponsor would pay, but for an exit pop that'd only lead to one window, that'd be nice. Considering though that if someone had 50,000 hits and all of those loaded in your program, they'd earn $50. If they used a sponsor program paying .045 cents and all 50,000 that loaded, that'd be $2250, which is a HUGE difference.

It's a tough subject though because if you're sending the traffic off to another site, then you can't really afford to pay too much for the traffic, but since you can't pay that much, people would rather just go to a different sponsor, HOWEVER, having one exit pop load up, wouldn't be a bad thing, he he.

and umm yeah I for one would prolly be interesting in CLEAN exit traffic. Not that popup filled garbage that places offer for .035....but hey I understand they gotta make money also.

I see it like this. If the usuall exit makes 5 pop-ups. 5 divided by .0045= .0009 per pop up. I would pay .001 for mine.

I would consider using an exit if it were like this. There is no way in hell I would use an exit that turns into a circle jerk. I rely on return visitors too much for that.

I use to hate exit consoles.
But now every site on the net seems to have them.
I started thinking and came to a conclusion.
Using exit consoles is a webmasters way of paying for his site work,content,and the time put into the site.
I run a free site with very few sponors.
I have thousands of free pix being added to the site. It's my way of getting some type of payment without asking visitors to click on my sponsors.
Everybody looks at this different though.
If I ran a membership site or an Avs site I would not use such a console. I only make between .50 to .75 cents a day off from exits.
