Am i the only one who would like to sit all day and make money with no work at all ?
I thiz biz you can make easy money with minimum work, or big money with hard work.
Unfortunately it seems like so far i had chosen the first route. I got no motivation to work hard even though i know i could make significantly more if i started doing something more productive. Some money keeps coming in, even though i don't have to work for it ( and no, i am not talking about sig money :321GFY ) and i always tell myself, i will start working hard next week etc.... Well, it's not like that exactly, since when i start doing something regularly then it beomes a routine and i get used to it...But to start doing it regularly is the hardest part. Do you also have this problem, or are you rather a workaholic :question |
Hard work will always pay off in the long run, better than not working and only taking a bit of what you could make.

As I enjoy this game, I prefer the hard work to get some day the big money...

I'd like to make enough money by sitting around all day without doing anything to pay all my bills, servers content and shit.. then I'd be happy to work without pressure to get extra money to pay for goodies like cars and houses in exotic locations.
brb. Gotta go buy a can of tuna and a celery if I can afford it. |

Just recently i lost a little motivation and i don't hide it. Btw, people always say "work smart, not hard" and i try doing it, but even if you work smart, you sometimes have to work hard. |
I've done both. But I find the older I get the more I really enjoy working and keeping busy to stay energized and healthy in my mind and body.
I see so many older guys that just like to play golf and lay around doing nothing all day and I just can't see myself ending up like that. Business is also more fast paced then ever because of the Internet so if you don't work hard you can miss a lot of opportunities. My hardest thing now is keeping up on a timely courteous basis cause of the speed of communications. The e-mails are overwhelming. The ICQ's are overwhelming. Proposals are overwhelming. Everything is fast and furious and somedays you just want to say enough already and just turn off the PCs. |

Its hard to do both. I haven't found a solution yet to this problem. I honestly do love my business projects more and get so much pleasure and satisfaction from creating new things and building stuff. |
the more money i get tha harder i want to work because i realise it doesnt matter how much money a woman has she finds a way to spend it :Graucho

What are you thinking when you're at the state of shopping where you are clearly buying things just for the sake of buying things and not because you really need them. I'm curious to hear the psychology behind this. My last wife was a shoe freak. Shoes, shoes, shoes. It drove me crazy how much time she would spend shopping for shoes. How many shoes do women need to be happy? I swear this especially has absolutely no limit at all. |
I get like that sometimes. I go to work at my crap job though on the weekends and it gives me a boost to want to do a lot of work. It makes me think what I could be doing and instead of wasting my time with the $9 a hour crap job.

I better jump in on this one, I've been a Leisure King for about 10 years now, I think it's definately the way to go.
When I first got into Adult (audiotext) I busted my ass, I worked 18 hour days, slept at the office, took all my phonecalls and spent time with every guy that said he had a business plan, wanted free advice or thought he could sell me something. After a few years of being a slave to my business I realized that my quality of life was more closely related to Time Off than Time On. Now I screen 100% of my calls, waste almost no time with salesmen or business proposals and only take the juiciest opportunities that pass my way. I'd rather do nothing and get just a small part of what could be earned than work hard to get all of it. That way I can sit back and get a small part of the next thing that floats by, and the one after that too. It's not that I don't keep busy, just that I choose what I do and when I do it. And most often it has nothing to do with business. |
