Sounds on banners suck, period.

I actually enjoy it. Especially mouseovering it a couple times quickly. I didn't enjoy it when I was on the phone though!

That banner has caused me to cuss like a sailor several times this week! I absolutely hate it!!!!!

I now scroll down so no banners show at the top of the screen when I'm on here. Sucks for people who've paid and don't have sound on their banners.

I personally don't like it either.

Allie's a nice girl and all, but I shake my head when I see promo's like this and it actually makes me less willing to promote a site.

Kind of like when I get spammed by people to promote new sponsors.

Yep all the audio banners suck ass. As for those that make them, here is my 2 cents and maybe I'm not the only one that does this. Here is what happens when I hit an audio banner by accident with my mouse. I have been so conditioned to stop those anyoing songs, sounds and what not that I hit my scroll wheel within half a second of the sound starting and scroll down to escape the mouse over sound effects. So I never see your banner. Ever. And no curriosity does not get the best of me because the annoying sound effects piss me off and I just go about my reading instead.

I have clicked and checked out a few sharp looking non-sound banners though.

That's just me though. Maybe it gets others to click. If so good for them

It's okay like the first time..but yeah right when you're speaking to people on the phone and you refresh gfy it happens that kinda sucks.
