TGP SUBMISSION QUESTION
 

I'm sure 99.9% of your guys have seen a TGP Gallery. I was wondering if the people that view the gallery actually clicks on the recipical buttons on the gallery? like them thumbzilla, al4a, elephantlist, worldsex link back buttons. If so.. how many? http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif

We're not reciping galleries right now. Most surfers use their back buttons anyhow to go back to their original site. We're not sure of the value of having a button/link on galleries themselves.

Ive been told the buttons help SE rankings some how ??thats why some guys just want there button nobody eles. I dont like them they slow the page and I really dont know how much traffic they give you I think TGP's are slowly pissing them off you proberly lose as much as you gain?? but I would like to hear more.

Need Traffic

I had one a few weeks ago that told me I had placed by link back to the wrong URL so obviosly somebody checks.

Search Engines (at least some) rank you by Link Popularity...so the more links you have pointed to your site, the higher you rate.

That may be why they insist on a recip.

Truth be told, they would do better having text links pointing back to them, the spiders read the text, and you will rank higher if you have 1,000 links all saying the same keywords...

Just a thought!

I've just started a TGP and am getting back traffic from recips on galleries submitted to other tgps, so it must get the other TGPs traffic too! Not too many, but with all those galleries the big TGPs get it must make up a fair amount.

The SE thing is good. Recips do send very little traffic, but when you consider the number of them it can add up. Another important thing is getting the name out there. People see the button everywhere and eventually check it out.

They send very little traffic, but they're good f-or brand recognition. I don't know how many Green Guy icons I saw before I actually clicked on one.
