Start>Control Panel>Power Options

i tried that but all the options are greyed out , cannot change anything
|
Toshibas have their own control setting program, outside of control panel.
Start > All Programs > Toshiba Console |
tried this too but the energy gestion doesn't do nothing when clicked on

Actually there should be a "Toshiba Power Saver" in the control panel...
Also be sure you are set up as an admin on your own machine.. |

start>control panel>power options>click Hibernate Tab. Toshiba is the same as any other computer. It's based on the operating system not the computer! :2 cents: |

found TPWRTRAY.EXE but it doesn't want to launch

you may need to adjust your BIOS settings before those options will appear in control panel.
