We have been working on this for more than a year in developing

The producers have been in research and development on Webmasters since April 2003. Extensive research has been applied to the development of themes, characters
and storylines. A short demo, directed by Josh Dorsey, was produced in-house in the summer of 2003 and then the project was brought to Showcase.

Since January 2004,
the producers have assembled an experienced team that includes filmmakers, writers, story editors and a production and postproduction staff to work on the series.

The majority of the footage will be handheld, shot with a Sony
DSR 500 DV-cam using natural and available light
