Anyone else with small children having this problem?

Sheesh!

I can't stop whistling or humming the tune to the song "Head and shoulder knees and toes.... knees and toes!"

It used to be that I had adult music stuck in my head, now it's Elmo and the gang.

I've been driving everyone crazy in the office today singing
DO YOU KNOW THE MUFFIN MAN?

LOL

I don't have small children, but my mom owned and operated a small chain of preschools for 20 years. That song is a classic.

kacy 06-18-2004 08:53 AM

haha :) well not that particular song, but I have had the Teletubbies and Barney songs stuck in my head before and I don't know about you, but they don't just linger in my head, its like full blown concert, lol :)

Peaches 06-18-2004 08:55 AM

Fess up, Brad - that was your favorite song LONG before you started having kids. :thumbsup

garce 06-18-2004 08:55 AM

So is dad into the leftovers? hehe

The Wiggles are dangerous.. last time Elizabeth saw them on TV we had to tear her away from watching it!

Peaches... for the record, I'm convinced I was a child who had no songs sung to him while growing up. So, in reality, all this stuff is new to me!

:helpme :glugglug

There's not a day that goes by that one of those damn songs isn't stuck in my head. Well except for ones by Barney or the Teletubbies, I'm a mean mommy and have never allowed my son to watch either of those shows.

Right now I have la la la la Elmos song going through my head all thanks to reading the word Elmo lol

Had to edit because apparently I am having trouble with english today

Tam 06-18-2004 10:13 AM

I have kids ranging from 6 to 20, so there is no telling what the hell kind of crazy shit is going to get stuck in my head........ everything from Blue's Clues and that stupid Dora song, to my youngest son's music, RAP, to my oldest son's music, Classic Rock........ all the way up to my oldest daughter's music, anything dark and angry........ LMAO
