Has the new beta search been working OK?
 

I posted it over a week ago and haven't heard any complaints.

works perfect so far.. did it start seeing newer threads yet?

Last time I checked it wasn't doing any threads older then when you posted it, so it's great for old searches, but day to day stuff is still missing....

its working great, even finding the new posts now :thumbsup

works fine here..other than a little slow no major problems

i tried it earlier today and it was super super slow.

I still say that an image verification system is the only want to stop the bots and thus lesson the load on the database.

I used it the other day. It didnt seem to be slow at all. Must of cought GFY at a slow time...lol...Like thats going to happen.

it is cool, it is slow, but i can imagine it would be having to search threw 3 million posts....

nice though, why don't you all do the image verification thing for the search?

Seems to work ok but I agree with Rick. Image verify per search or at least the first search and cookie the rest.

I love it and I'm so happy to have it back. I couldn't care less if it's slow or lags a few days - it's certainly better than nothing. Thanks, Joe :) :) :)

Mr. Lens, the search feature is moving right along and is current.

However, is there any way we can have the search go directly to the post of the person we are searching instead of moving to the top of the first page of the thread?
