ip2dns database???
 

Does anyone know where I can get that huge list of ips for every country? I know it is open, but where do you find it? Most tracking companies use it, so they can do geotargeting for their users.. hmm

Thanks, but I thought the actual database was free...to use that is. I can develop the actual software that interfaces with it, its just a matter of getting that database. ::)

what you're trying to do is called "geotargeting" and i need to do the same thing, i remember as of 3-6 months ago i saw lots of free utilities for it, but now im having a hard time finding what i need also, let me know if you find something that works... seth at webseth . com

maxmind is the way to go.. I just built a frontend for it. You can source the data but these guys are updating faster than any resource i could find including arin or ripe.
