.. but where were you 10 yrs ago today whilst the OJ Car Chase was on ??


I was self Employed at my hot-rod shop in Duarte Ca...
was just learning about computers and the net...
doing drag race photography...


and I was tryin to watch my Lakers win a championship....


.. and the Friggin NBA FINALS got pre-empted by OJ and Al Cowlings and the Bronco Drama!!!


Damn I wanted them to shoot him so I could watch the game.

I was attending Pepperdine University :)

I was in Alabama going to college watching it in the student union

sushi bar in mission valley with my girlfriend watching it on thier little corner tv

In my dorm room in College. :)

I was drinking at a bar just outside of Madison Square Garden and watching the crowd near riot when the game was disrupted.

S/B I-5 x El Toro exit, changing a tire on an old VW Vanagon.

Back when I worked the "AAA tow circuit".

Speaking about the OJ thing....TV history is crediting the OJ trial with the realization America loves reality and drama. TV got a clue from the trial and survivor was born etc., and hence all the reality show craze.

This is a fact, BTW :-)

I always heard that COPS and Jerry Springer were the first 'reality' tv show that started it all..

I was in high school..we were out at abar watching the bb game..when it got interrupted...:(

I was drunk in a bar playing pool.

Was watching the World Cup from home.

10 years ago I was at school enjoying my high school life as a first year student LOL

i have no fucking clue, it didn't interest me in the least until that fucker got away with murder...

I was making inkjet ink for all the major banking firms around the world. Living with a bookworm type girl that wanted sex all day, oh the horror!

I seriously CANT fucking remember where I was, or what I was doing..

I was at school, probably... no, on summer holidays :)

I owned a pawn shop. Behind the counter I had a row of TVs for sale that were all hooked up together with cable repeaters. Well, needless to say I was turned around watching the TVs the whole time during the chase. I think I had about 3,000 dollars worth of shit shop lifted from me that day.

They were but they had a small share of market, the OJ trial pulled in millions who aquired the reality drama bug that would have never tuned into COPS or Springer.

I was in Jr High and helping my stepdad move out of his old house and into the new one that him and my mom bought.

damn, i was 10.

On my lunch break, doing bong hits on the couch. watching it on TV.

I was a PI and I was on survailance at a bowling alley when it appeared on the big screen tv's there..the comotion made it much easier to get the deadbeat I was following on tape cause nobody was paying attention to me!

I was having a few beers with my father, celebrating my birthday. Memorable birthday for that event.

10 years ago now.... I was thinking about my highschool gradutation.

I'm getting old :(

My friends owns a few pawn shops I worked there all through college what a place for stories!

I was a chemist and marketing director for a company - was sitting at a truck stop in ontario having lunch while on the road when I first saw the car chase.

I was with my ex wife, and had my first mustangGT

I went shopping for a new TV the next day.

heh - i was in Manhattan Beach watching the thing on TV debating whether or not to drive the 3 miles to the 405 Freeway to watch him drive by! :ak47:

Oh, I remember that day!

I was working for Pacific Bell, one of the seven baby bells. I was a supervisor for directory assistance operators. I took emergency phone calls, etc, shit like that.

We were nearly 500 miles away in San Fran and we were getting calls saying "I see OJ on the 101 and want to report it to the police".

Anyone who had a TV could have figured that out.

Fun day.

I was stuck in traffic on the 405, thanks to those two assholes.

LOL I remember that day . It was Friday I think...Couple of days after my Birthday, sitting in My office in Encino, trying to finish some legal work.
The strange part is that I use to see Kardeshian (his first) attorney at the blockbusters next to my house. Poor guy died like a year ago. He was OJ best friend or something.

Man 10 years went by...I am really getting old.

Oddly enough I remember where I was when I saw it on the news. I was at the bar playing pool and drinking.
