Alert: useless thread - Do you iron your clothes (pic)?

I was just talking to polish_aristocrat, and he says he irons his clothes while I almost never do so. He says he also irons his t-shirts, even when they are to be worn under the other clothes. So what's your iron policy?

Since this thread is even more useless without pics:

bluff 06-17-2004 08:18 AM

I actually mean noone irons my clothes - many of my clothes are unironned :winkwink:

NakedBo 06-17-2004 08:20 AM

I only iron my blouses and stuff like that. Other clothes only when they are extremely wrinkled. I wear a lot of thight clothes so it has no use ironing those, my body will do that for me. My mom even irons her towels and underwear, that woman has to much time on her hands. :)

LOL that's ridiculous. BTW my parents' maid does the same.

I iron anything that I wear out of the house. Even the Tees that are worn under clothes. Sometimes even my boxers if the occasion calls for it.

ADL_Christy 06-17-2004 08:34 AM

I do not iron! If it needs ironing I usually won't buy it! On the off occasion that I do buy something that requires ironing, it only gets ironed the day of wearing it. And it usually only gets worn a couple of times in its lifetime! I absoultely hate ironing!

polish_aristocrat 06-17-2004 10:53 AM

:hi

LeeNoga 06-17-2004 10:55 AM

What needs ironed goes to drycleaners, why does not need to be ironed is considered fashionably wrinkled.

MetaMan 06-17-2004 10:56 AM

why the fuck wouldnt u iron your clothes?

Unless u r one of those losers who buy his clothes at american eagle, who's clothes look frayed and are ugly as hell, why do people shop there i just dont know?

i iron everything accept my socks, i like to go out looking good all the time, first impressions are everything and u never know when u will have to make one.

Platinum Red 06-17-2004 10:56 AM

Iron I think I bought one of them about 3 years ago?

ztik 06-17-2004 10:56 AM

I just throw my stuff in the dryer on high for a couple mins

m00d 06-17-2004 10:59 AM

You can eliminate almost all ironing by not overloading the washer, using fabric softener and PROMPTLY removing clothes from the dryer to hangers

that's what I do

adamneve 06-17-2004 11:13 AM

i even Iron my socks and undies :glugglug

Ricky Dynamite 06-17-2004 11:45 AM

Ironing should be left to fancy clothing. I consider everything outside t-shirts, jeans and khaki's "fancy" clothing.

detoxed 06-17-2004 11:46 AM

I dont think I've ironed anything in months

TheLegacy 06-17-2004 11:47 AM

just buy new clothes if I have too

Holly 06-17-2004 12:01 PM

Pretty much anything I wear out of the house gets ironed. I take a lot of stuff to the drycleaners, too. Wrinkled clothes look horrible. Even clothes you get directly out of the dryer, still look 1000 times better when they're ironed. All cotton fabric should be pressed, imo.

iFliPcEss 06-17-2004 12:07 PM

all of my clothes are all ironed you hardly see a person walking around on the street wearing a messy shirt here!

my stuff isn't messy, the softener mostly takes care of that

PrivateIvy 06-17-2004 12:08 PM

Nope....I just thrown stuff back in the dryer until the wrinkles fall out :winkwink:
